The team first made a name for itself operating a crude oil shuttle service during the tumultuous 1980’s in the Gulf. In 1989 the group’s flagship maritime shipping company – Foresight Shipping Limited (FSL) erstwhile Amer Shipping Limited was established in Cyprus and during that same year the group bought its first bulk carrier and two new build Reefer vessels, Amer Fuji and Himalaya from Japan.
